I am excited to announce that Wild Rej Productions is taking the next step towards our long term goals. We have numerous projects in various stages of development, and we are starting a new program for anyone who wants to participate. It's called "Fun to be a Fan" and here's what it is... Anyone who becomes a fan of Wild Rej Productions on Facebook OR signs up for our email newsletter will be listed in the credits of our next film. We are prepping the film now for production. We'd really like to make it fun for people who are fans of what we do.

Furthermore, this website will be drastically changing soon. The company has grown, and the site is going to have different needs in the future. We will still offer great production services include video and audio, and we are going to move towards producing original stories.

We are excited to move forward!

I just visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and one quote that I heard there from Walt Disney (the person, not the company, though sometimes it may be hard to tell the difference) has been running through my head.

I hope we never lose sight of one thing. It all began with a mouse.

I just keep thinking of how big DISNEY (the company) is right now. Theme parks, movies, TV, investments, travel, hotels, and everything else. And it all began with a mouse.

How many dreams do you have that are so big you can’t even see how they’re going to be accomplished?

Maybe they need to start with something smaller, like a mouse…

But there’s a part of the story that’s missing.

Michael Eisner, former CEO of Disney, once said:

Walt Disney used to walk around and always say, “I hope we never lose sight of one thing. It all began with a mouse.” Well, here at Disney, we know the truth. It started with a mouse, and a man.

Are we looking for the mouse, or the man? Any thoughts?

I once heard a great basketball coach speaking in front of a few thousand people and he asked a question that I'll never forget.

I once heard a great basketball coach speaking in front of a few thousand people and he asked a question that I’ll never forget.

The huge room was silent – nobody wanted to miss a word. And then he asked, “What’s the difference between a win and a loss?”

After a moment of silence people started shouting out answers.

The coach responded to each answer as he heard them.

“Good defense!” someone screamed.

“Defense helps a lot, but it’s not the difference,” said the coach.

Another yell, “Rebounding!”

Another answer, “Rebounding is important, and can help you a lot, but that’s not I’m talking about.”

After a few more shouts that were off the mark, the coach relented and just told all of us what he was thinking of.

“The difference between a win and a loss is pretty simple. Don’t complicate it. It’s just one point.”

That exchange has stuck with me because so much of what I have experienced in life has come down to small moments. Such small things separate winning and losing, success and failure. Sometimes it’s scary to think of how many failures I might have had if one thing had been different. But even more scary is how many successes I might have had if I tried one more time, if I spent just a few more hours, if I made one more phone call, if I stayed up just a little later.

Really, the difference between success and failure comes down to one of something.

Anybody know who the coach was…?

After I saw this video, I bookmarked it so I could watch it whenever I needed a lift. Stories like this are what people need when there is so much negative information surrounding us.

I hope you like it. If you just want an audio only mp3 of the video, use this site. I have it on my iPod and listen to it almost daily.

Does anyone know who the guy is in the first Rocky movie who bought and sold the dog? I’m so curious!

Thanks to Chai Wisdom for the video!
